"Room was clean and neat. Staff was very friendly and helpful, food was plentiful good but could be kept warmer. Our hallway seemed a little dark and were working on the ceiling tearing down drywall in places which made it dusty for a couple of days. Overall very nice resort and the rooms have cold A/C! "

We appreciated all the great service we received but some callouts need to be made to Chantal on the beach, Abraham at the middle swim up bar and Antonio and Alejandro in Isla Contoy! They made our week and we were a group of 21!"

"Our suite was beautiful, comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Mexico City can be a bit overwhelming but Gran Hotel Ciudad de Mexico was a perfect refuge. The restaurant was terrific, both for food and for the incredible view overlooking the Zocalo. There was also a lovely lounge for residents of the hotel only."
