"We are regulars here and will keep coming back. This is not a five-star resort but is very clean and the staff are mucho friendly. The beautiful beach is 100 feet away and the hotel offers chaise lounge chairs for guests. Umbrellas are available.
The restaurant next-door, seemingly on the same property, is very agreeable with good food and good prices.
There are a ton of other good restaurants in easy walking distance, even for someone like me with a hip and knee replacement!
The water isn’t potable and warm showers are hard to come by but everything else here makes up for these things.
Ana, David, and Fernando (and the rest of the front end crew) make the check in process very easy.

"Immaculately clean little hotel in the heart of Puerto Morelos. The King Suite with spacious private terrace and outdoor bathtub was well worth the upgrade! Yes, you can hear the music from the nearby bar at night but we quite enjoyed hanging out on the rooftop and taking in the vibes. The music was finished by 11:00 pm so it didn’t interfere with our sleep. I absolutely loved that the location was very walkable, just a five minute walk to the beach and many wonderful restaurants nearby, including The Portside Restaurant on the roof of the hotel. We enjoyed two delicious meals there while viewing the spectacular sunset. We will most definitely return to this beautiful little hotel. "
"The moment you walk in your greeted by very friendly staff Fernando was very nice. The room was clean and housekeeping came in every day which I love. There are many dining options within walking distance. The view of the beach is amazing literally can sit on your porch and just take in the views. It’s very lively on the weekends. I will be back again. This was my second time staying at Ojo de Agua. They also have transportation services for a fee but it’s worth it. Thank you again to all the staff for making my trip relaxing. Our room was a second story king. Bed was comfy true king bed.
However if it rained we could see holes in thatch roof that could be a problem "
"Abba was amazing! First time in México, my daughter and I spent her 8th birthday there. Our stay was quiet, and it felt like we were the only ones there!
I loved that the beach club was right out the back door and the servers were amazing :) Uber from the condo to our friends resort was only $3USD.
Walking distance to downtown and all the cute shops and food places. SODA the local store has more American options, SIX is another good option for snacks/toiletries etc. there’s a 7-11 on the main stretch between resorts too.
I got these earrings a while back and wore them the first time to Mexico. The color seemed fitting
One of the first things Abba said to me when arriving at the condos was how much she loved my earrings and how she loved the color.
(she gets off at 6pm but stayed past 9pm for our arrival and made sure the ac was on in our condo)

I left her a little translator to hopefully help with future guests, and an energy drink i wasn’t going to be able to take through security.
She went out of her way to get my daughter a birthday cake from the local market, showing me pictures thru WhatsApp to help me decide which one to get.
She gave us tips and advice, and even the local pizza delivery WhatsApp #.
She was a wonderful host and I am glad she loves them and they look beautiful on her! 殺
