"This was our second time at Maya Riviera and we are already making plans to bring our kids with us next time to one of the other Maya Grand resorts on the complex. The rooms was clean and well cared for, service was great, and all of the employees are very kind and helpful. The only downfalls we had this time around was that the pools were colder (I’m a freeze baby) and we had reservations for water activities cancelled due to wind changes that we don’t learn about until we walked all the way over there. They are also doing some construction on the main entryway that looks like it was due to some damage and that was pretty loud during the day but it didn’t really impact us as we were in the premium rooms at the far end of the resort. Wish we could have stayed longer as there was still plenty to do on the complex that we didn’t get to! We will be happy to go back!"

"Although our room was starting to show its age, it was very clean and the staff was excellent. There was a significant renovation happening to many of the villas so it seems they are keeping the buildings as up to date as they can. The only downside was the food. The dishes at the buffet were consistently mislabeled and the restaurants were extremely difficult to book a reservation, although the food was excellent at the one reservation we did secure"
