"The Hyatt Vivid was fabulous!!! This was our first time there… we have visited other resorts in the past 15 yrs, we’ve been to the El Dor…, The Valen….. Imp…, The Ri. Pa…, and I will say, we really loved the atmosphere at the Vivid. Food and drinks were great! The staff was on point.. especially Roberto by the pool (5 Stars for him!) Fonzi and Ezekiel were amazing bartenders!!!! We loved the activities and the entertainment by the pool during the day and the shows at night were Amazing!!!!! Fifth Avenue was just a 2 minute walk which we always visit and it was so nice not to have to get a taxi to get there. The entire resort was emaculate and so easy and convenient to get around. The rooms were huge, the beds and pillows were comfortable and the ac kept us cool at night, ( usually an issue at other resorts) We enjoyed the mixture of all ages ( no kids) there! We will definitely be back for sure!!! The Vivid did not disappoint!!"

"From the lobby to all the amenities and the employees, we had an amazing stay. The sargassum is real and prevented us from getting in the ocean, unfortunately. Besides from that, the white sand beach and the pool, the activities they provide, all restaurants are great. The Italian in our option is by far the best, by the way. We’d definitely recommend it and go back there."

"I’ve been to lots of resorts before, but this one is a bit unique. The mascot is a penguin super cute the scented toilet paper 😂 they sprayed your bed and robe with a scented linen spray loved it! When leaving the room in the evening, they would come in and prepare your room for bed. I never had a bad meal. From the restaurant manager Augustin who greeted us every day knew us by name. All the sweet servers Jonathan, Victor, Lazaro attention to detail they made my mom’s birthday so memorable. Also the pool servers Gerard and Jose are so attentive I will miss every single one of them. Never went to the beach due to the storms, but overall the breathless views of the beach and resort 10/10. I joined there subscription so I can travel all there other resorts worldwide. But I can’t wait to revisit Devossion in playa never disappointed. Cheers!"

Barceló Maya Palace - All Inclusive

"It was our first time staying at Barcelo Palace. We stayed in the Oaxaca Building and our room was somewhat close to the pools. The room itself felt spacious and had lots of storage pace for a family of three. The property itself is large and combines several of their other hotels. The hotel offers shuttle service to the other parts of the hotel but we walked and felt it wasn’t more than a 20 minute walk to get to their furthest property. This is an all inclusive resort but we were not premium so we didn’t have free room service. My daughter was bummed about it but it was ok as we didn’t spend much time in the room. We liked the food at the buffet as well as their Brazilian and Seafood restaurants. Staying in the Palace allows you to eat at restaurants at the other properties. We also ate at their Italian and Spanish restaurant. Overall, we really liked the food! The servers were attentive and friendly. The only issue is having to make reservations for some of the restaurants. We really wanted to try their hibachi restaurant but we realized too late that we needed to make reservations at the beginning of our trip vs towards the end. The sargassum is prominent but we also travelled during the month of May. We didn’t swim in the beach because of the sargassum. The hotel was probably at 60% capacity and it could be a result of the sargassum. On the bright side, we had no issues finding lounge chairs by the pool. The pool is great! We also enjoyed the entertainment."
