"The staff were lovely and a huge thank you to the your maids who had to clean up our messes every other day! The pool was also nice, but would have nice to know that the jacuzzi wasn’t actually hot and was pool temp water. The hotel room was decent but not the best, the shower head wasn’t working and then by the end of our stay the toilet seat was coming loose, but they fixed the shower head right away which was very nice. I love the staff at this hotel though, everyone was so kind and helpful. "

"We had an ocean view room. The room was beautiful and well equipped. The staff are exemplary, very attentive and kind. Having the 24/7 snack bar was appreciated as well as the coffee bar (with pastries and ice cream). The nightly entertainment was outstanding. Cons: For an adult only large resort, there should be more than one bar (and it closes at 11:00). The gym was filthy and machines were old and rusty. Towels weren’t replenished as needed. The food is mediocre at best but you should be able to find something you like. Lastly, there is NO beachfront. The sargasso is overwhelming and very stinky. If you want beach, you must walk away from the resort to public access. "

"I recently stayed at Devossion by Live Aqua, and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing. While the rooms were clean, they were noticeably small and not what I expected for the price. The food was another major letdown very poor quality and extremely limited variety. The buffet was honestly one of the smallest I’ve ever seen at a hotel of this category. On top of that, the pool menu and room service menu were practically identical, offering little to no additional options. What frustrated me the most was the pricing issue. I booked and agreed to a specific price in US dollars, but upon arrival, I was charged a different amount. The explanation given was a change in conversion rates, but that simply shouldn’t apply when the reservation was confirmed in USD. If a guest agrees to a price in US dollars, that should be the exact amount charged. Overall, the hotel felt boring and lacked entertainment or activities. I stayed over the weekend and was shocked by the complete absence of any entertainment once the pool closed. I wouldn’t necessarily mind a quieter atmosphere, but the hotel markets itself as a “celebration” hotel yet there is no real entertainment team or organized evening activities to support that claim. Unfortunately, I would not return or recommend this property based on my experience. "

"I recommend 100 % this hotel. I stayed for 7 days right after urgent surgery, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place to recover. All the staff showed exceptional kindness. They even called the on-call doctor when they saw I needed help. I felt safe and truly cared for. Spotless hotel, spacious room, very comfortable bed, and a lovely city-view balcony. Room service was a huge help during my first days. Perfect location with Chedraui (grocery store) right downstairs and the 5th & 38 Avenue and the beach just minutes away. Thank you to the entire team for your humanity and care."
