"Went as a solo traveller in the off season. Resort staff was friendly. Food was good although not all restaurants are open every night but that’s understandable given how busy. Felt safe. Good mix of busy and loud spots and quiet areas. Would definitely go back! Brace yourself for not being able to swim in the ocean during the off season, which is far beyond the hotels control! "

"There was so much attention to detail. They had everything we needed. We did not need to leave the property. Lots of entertainment and activities for everyone. The staff was friendly and genuinely cared about the satisfaction of the guests. We had a great time and would definitely return or try other RIU properties. "

"Extraordinary location, services, food, nature surrounding. Personnel are kind, friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, attentive. Would definitely go back. One annoying issue, however, there was a strong mold smell in our room, likely affecting many casitas’ bottom floor units (we tried two). May try a top floor room next time"

"Absolutely LOVED our stay! Staff was so friendly and honest. Helped us make decisions about excursions, things to do, places to see, what’s worth it and what’s not. Very transparent about money conversions and if it wasn’t available at the hotel that day you can go right up the street past the tequila place to exchange your cash! The hotel was so clean and stayed that way, even with the ocean and sand right outside with the big open lower level. The elevator was ALWAYS available. There are 2 pools in different areas of the resort so you choose which vibe you want. The hot tub is tucked away and has an amazing view! Even with the sargassum they kept the beaches fairly clean given the circumstances and had all day activities for everyone to enjoy whether it was inside playing bingo or outside playing the penguin game. At night it was a different story. They had amazing individuals come in give spectacular shows that always kept you wondering what was happening the next day. I highly recommend this resort to everyone visiting! The resort is rotten next to a ferry that takes you to Cozumel and Isle Mujeres and just a block from 5th street. So much to do!! "

"Beautiful property and great staff. Service was top notch. Food was pretty good. Only complaint is how early customers (before 6 am) wake up to pick their pool lounge chair. Wish they could do something about that. "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt the staff was very helpful & respectful everything was wonderful. They could use another smoking area they only had one & it was only 2 sitting benches which made it hard for all the smokers that was at resort. That's just a smokers point of view besides that our trip was absolutely wonderful."
