"celebrated my birthday this past week here at RIU Palace Riviera Maya! Absolutely loved it the best resort on the block it seemed like. Staff is super friendly, resort is very clean and updated rooms. Don’t waste your time at the restaurants on the property, we really thought the buffets were the best options food wise! Tip your bartenders or other workers they show great hospitality! We got the most out of our trip, We definitely enjoyed everything i’ll be recommending to family and friends "

"Our family spent an amazing week, outstanding variety of food options, great service, animation is different every day! The sea is super warm and shallow (great for young kids), although the entrance is filled with rocks, it’s possible to hurt feet. I personally loved the coffee place and spa! The massage by Mariesol was the best! Great area, beautiful vegetation and landscape design with wildlife walking around. Every employee is polite and respectful, except for one staff member in the bowling area, whose name is Teresa. We lost the desire to enter the bowling area cause she made us run to our room twice to get the socks and giving our reservation to someone else. If she had told us there was no availability right away or wouldn’t promise to keep the spot for us, there won’t be a complaint about it. But we felt treated unfairly. Other than that the place is pure paradise!"
